Stronger protection for your saved keys, two new models, and sharper memory
  • Stronger protection for your saved keys — your API keys are now sealed with your operating system's own keystore (Windows DPAPI / macOS Keychain) instead of a file sitting beside your data, and settings are written so a crash mid-save can't corrupt them.
  • New: Claude Sonnet 5 and Grok 4.5 join the model lineup, selectable for chat and on the Flows canvas. Sonnet 5 becomes the Balanced preset's Claude pick, and Best Quality now uses Claude Fable 5 and Grok 4.5.
  • Sharper memory — something you said earlier in the same session is searchable right away, instead of waiting for the nightly pass.
  • Misc polish and fixes across the board, including the Quick Setup model presets and the daily tweet drafts.

Installing

Windows

  1. 1 Close Memorandai if it's already running (right-click the tray icon or use File → Quit).
  2. 2 Double-click the downloaded installer. Windows may show a UAC prompt — the installer is signed with our Azure Trusted Signing certificate, so SmartScreen will be muted.
  3. 3 The installer runs silently (~2 seconds). Memorandai launches automatically when done.

Upgrading from a prior version keeps all your data. The installer only replaces the app binaries; your profiles, memories, keystones, and settings at C:\memorandai\users\ are untouched.

macOS

  1. 1 Quit Memorandai if it's already running (⌘Q or right-click the menu-bar icon).
  2. 2 Open the downloaded .dmg and drag Memorandai into your Applications folder.
  3. 3 Launch from Applications or Spotlight. The build is notarized by Apple, so Gatekeeper clears it without the "unidentified developer" dialog.

Upgrading from a prior version keeps all your data. Replacing the app bundle leaves your profiles, memories, and settings at ~/Memorandai/users/ untouched.

Both Apple Silicon (M1+) and Intel (x64) builds are available above — pick the one that matches your Mac. If you're unsure, click the Apple menu → About This Mac and check the "Chip" or "Processor" line.

System requirements

  • Windows 11 (x64), or macOS 11 Big Sur or later (Apple Silicon or Intel)
  • ~500 MB disk space for the app plus room for your knowledge archive
  • Optional: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or xAI API key for cloud LLM features; or run a local GGUF model entirely offline
